What is donald guthrie?

Donald Guthrie (1916-1992) was a British New Testament scholar and theologian. He studied at the University of London and was a member of Tyndale Fellowship for Biblical Research. Guthrie wrote numerous books and articles on the New Testament, including commentaries on the Gospel of Matthew and Acts of the Apostles. His most famous work is probably the three-volume New Testament Introduction, which is still widely used in theological education today. Guthrie was also involved in Bible translation work, serving on the translation committees for both the New International Version (NIV) and the Revised Standard Version (RSV) of the Bible.
